Executive Advisory

Independent senior judgement for the few go-to-market decisions that materially affect the quarter. Direct access to senior commercial judgement for a CEO, CRO or first UK country leader, while executive ownership remains within the business.

Why Executive Advisory

Normally used after a Rendus programme, or by a leader who already has a team but needs independent challenge on decisions such as:

Which UK opportunities deserve executive attention.

Engagement structure

Advisory runs period by period, with the decision agenda, scope and cadence agreed at the outset. Each period ends with an explicit decision to renew or conclude, and the advisory can follow a programme or stand alone.

How each period runs

Set the decision agenda

Agree the few commercial decisions that matter most this period, review the operating context, forecast and strategic opportunities, and define the evidence and cadence needed for useful challenge.

Challenge the evidence

Test material deals, partner choices and forecast assumptions, identify decisions being deferred or obscured, and support the sponsor in setting clear ownership and next actions.

Review and reset

Review what changed and what remains unresolved, set the commercial priorities for the period ahead, and renew or conclude the relationship explicitly rather than letting it drift.

Deliverables

The advisory gives you:

  • Independent recommendations on strategic deals and forecasts.
  • Decision briefs for market-entry, investment and partner choices.
  • Board and investor briefing materials.
  • Recommendations on commercial hiring and organisation: shape, seniority and sequence.
  • A written record of decisions, actions and owners after each session.
  • Continuity after a Rendus programme, with scope reset each period.

Every engagement is led personally by Nick Wallace, drawing on senior commercial leadership experience at AWS, Microsoft, Stripe and Oracle.About Nick and Rendus

How success is measured

Measures are agreed for each period and focus on decision quality, clarity of ownership and follow-through. They may include:

Important decisions taken earlier and on clearer evidence.
